Dr Katingo Hadjipateras Giannoulis
Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Dr Katingo Hadjipateras Giannoulis is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and an Affiliate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, with membership of the Clinical and Neuropsychological Divisions. She had worked in the UK National Health Service for over twenty years and has also provided clinical psychology services in the private sector.
She has gained a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology, a M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Surry and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of London.
Dr Hadjipateras Giannoulis consults to adults, adolescents and children who present with difficulties like emotional problems (e.g. as a result of bullying), depression, difficulties managing anxiety and anger, fears, panic attacks, relationship problems, sleep disorders, bulimia and anorexia, bereavement and loss, confidence-building and social skills deficits. Within her therapeutic work, she primarily adopts a cognitive- behavioural approach.
She also undertakes IQ tests for adolescents and children.
She is involved in the supervision of fellow psychologists and in training school and hospital staff. She has been invited as a speaker to present in many conferences.
Since 2009 she has been a permanent associate consultant of the Career Associates Centre.
