Within the past three years, Maria has helped prospective candidates gain admission to leading Universities in the UK and the USA and attend undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, and PhD programmes there. She also works as an Associate for Career Associates SA, an established career counselling and development centre, with more than 30 years of experience in Greece, where she is responsible for educational consulting and the international job search.
Before working in Career and Education Management, she held senior-level roles in Human Resources (HR) departments in the UK, during which she was responsible for all aspects of People Management, including recruitment, graduate recruitment, learning and development for both sides of the Atlantic (USA and Europe).
Her understanding of career paths in multinational organizations and the way in which organizations recruit, train, and develop their employees has always been a distinctive advantage in her career and education coaching work. Additionally, she worked closely with Universities to recruit graduates thus acquiring invaluable insights into what companies expect from a candidate. She is also an experienced and qualified Career Coach.
Her previous employers include AstraZeneca, LVMH, NHS, Cambridge University, and Cambridge University Press. She has also trained and managed a wide range of client groups including lawyers, finance officers, PR & Marketing, Sales, and IT staff, doctors, teachers, scientists, and Business staff, from the graduate to the CEO level.
Working as a trainer and coach for On Track International means she remains up-to-date with the latest international developments in the field of Management, Recruitment, and Training.
